Seifert Fibered Torus

Fibered manifolds

A Seifert fibration decomposes a 3-manifold into circles. On a solid torus, fibers wind with rational slope p/q (here 2/5): each fiber closes after p turns around the long direction and q around the short. Nested shells suggest volume, unlike planar Villarceau slices on the outer surface.
